Mock Examination 2024/25

There will be two sets of Mock Exams for students.

These will be in November 2024 and February 2025.

The purpose of these mocks are to prepare students for the conditions they will have to work under in the actual GCSE examinations.

The conditions for examinations are set by JCQ and are detailed in our website page on exam policies.

We appreciate that exam conditions can be very stressful which is why we provide as much support as we are allowed to give to make it easier for students ie rest breaks, smaller exam halls.

Students who cannot work within the rules during a Mock exams will have to be withdrawn from the exam room and their exam paper destroyed. These are the rules.

If this behaviour is repeated in other mock exams then the decision to withdraw the student may be taken to ensure other students are not disadvantaged by disruption caused.

Students who have not taken any mock exams may also be withdrawn from the GCSE exam due to a lack of supporting evidence that they can behave throughout the exam.
