County Lines

County Lines

Following a citizenship lesson on “County Lines” some students wrote a poem collaboratively on their perception of this problem.

I was very impressed by their perceptive understanding of the issue and the quality of the prose.

Well done!

Andrew Murray, Headteacher

County lines…

It’s Friday night and I’m about,
And I’m keeping a look out.

It’s 3 at night
The drug dealers are about
They’re riding about.

Scared to never get your kids back
You’re in too deep and can’t get back up.

They give you a stack then rob it back.

County Lines, the drugs go by.

Poor and scared.
